Sub: Withdrawal of additional duty of customs on imported liquor

G.S.R.    (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with sub-section (8) of section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) and in supersession of the  notification of the Government of India in Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 178/2003-Customs, dated 12th of December 2003, the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts all the goods from the whole of the additional duty leviable under the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 32/2003-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2003, published in Gazette of India vide G.S.R. 167(E), dated the 1st March, 2003.
