Sub: Amends notification No.60/2000-Customs, dated the 12th May, 2000 so as to remove port restrictions on imports of Quota Tea from Sri Lanka at concessional rate
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.60/2000-Customs, dated the 12th May, 2000 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 434 (E), dated the 12th May, 2000, namely:-
In the said notification, condition number (3) shall be omitted.
